The upcoming movie “Decibel” has shared some stills of its main cast!
“Decibel” (literal title) is an action thriller movie about a terrorist who wants to plant a bomb that responds to sound in the middle of the city and a former Navy commander who becomes the target of the terrorist threat.
Kim Rae Won plays the former Navy commander, while Lee Jong Suk plays a Navy captain who is fiercely loyal to the crew of his submarine. The new stills show Kim Rae Won and Lee Jong Suk’s characters frequently facing off in tense meetings aboard submarines as they race to stop the threat. ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo appears in one still as a young sailor in the Navy who is in charge of sonar detection.
The stills also include Jung Sang Hoon, who plays a reporter who has closely followed the military throughout his career. Other actors in the film include Park Byung Eun (playing a member of the Defense Security Support Command), Lee Sang Hee (playing a senior officer of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal squad), and Jo Dal Hwan (playing a Navy senior officer).
“Decibel” is set to premiere in the summer of 2022.

Lee Jong Suk and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA will be starring together in the 2022 tvN drama “Big Mouth” (literal title)!
“Big Mouth” is a hard-boiled noir drama about a third-rate lawyer who winds up in charge of a murder case that turns him overnight into a genius conman known as “Big Mouse.” In order to survive and protect his family, he must expose a huge conspiracy among the privileged upper classes.
Lee Jong Suk will star as Park Chang Ho, a third-rate lawyer with a 10 percent success rate. He is the type to be all talk and no action, so his legal acquaintances call him “Big Mouth.” But one day, he is mistaken for a genius conman known as “Big Mouse” and his life is put in danger.
YoonA will star as Go Mi Ho, a nurse and Park Chang Ho’s wife. She is the one who made her husband into a lawyer with her unshakable support, and when she learns that he is being mistaken for a conman, she sets out to clear his name herself.
“Vagabond” writers Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon are listed as creators on “Big Mouth,” and Oh Choong Hwan, who worked on the mise-en-scène for “Hotel Del Luna,” will be working as the director.
“Big Mouth” is set to premiere in 2022.

According to an exclusive report from Ilgan Sports, Yoona will be the female lead in upcoming K-Drama Big Mouth. She would be joining Lee Jong Suk as the lead roles, and the two would play a couple.
Yoona would play the role of Go Mi Ho, the wife of lawyer Park Chang Ho (played by Lee Jong Suk). Go Mi Ho is an attractive woman with outstanding beauty and confidence who made Park Chang Ho into the lawyer he is. Since she was in university, her elegance was enough to have her take on modelling jobs, but then she became a person who would curse a lot and her actions became too brazen, sometimes embarrassing herself.
SM Entertainment stated that Yoona is currently positively considering the offer to appear in Big Mouth.
Big Mouth is a legal drama that tells the story of a murder case, and a third-rate lawyer who only has a 10 percent chance of winning the case. Bizarre things happen during the case after the truth is revealed, and a decision must be made: should a person become evil and protect their family, or solely protect themselves in a world full of conspiracy and desire.
Big Mouth will be written by Haram, with assistance from Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon. The show will be led by director Oh Chung Hwan, who worked on K-Dramas While You Were Sleeping, Hotel del Luna, and Start-Up. Filming is scheduled for the second half of 2021.

The upcoming action film “Decibel” (literal title) has begun filming!
It has been confirmed that Kim Rae Won, Lee Jong Suk, Jung Sang Hoon, Park Byung Eun, Lee Sang Hee, Jo Dal Hwan, and ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo have been cast in the film. The movie, which began filming on April 20, is about a group of people racing to stop a sound terrorism attack in the city that is similar to an incident that happened in a submarine a year ago.
Kim Rae Won will play a Navy commander who has to stop a terrorism attack in the form of a sound bomb planted in the heart of the city. Kim Rae Won has expanded his acting spectrum with every role, like in the movies “Prison” and “The Most Ordinary Love,” and most recently in the drama “L.U.C.A.: The Beginning.” Lee Jong Suk will play a Navy captain who is fiercely loyal to the crew of his submarine. Lee Jong Suk recently completed his mandatory military service and is set to make a special appearance in the sequel to the film “The Witch.” He is also in talks for his first drama role since his discharge.
Jung Sang Hoon will play a reporter who works with Kim Rae Won’s character to stop the sound bomb. Although he is a civilian, he follows the military closely as a reporter and has a soldier-like attitude. Jung Sang Hoon is an all-rounder actor who has appeared in movies, dramas, and musical for over two decades. Park Byung Eun will play a member of the Defense Security Support Command who is searching for the truth behind the terrorism attacks. Park Byung Eun recently showed his detailed and refined acting in the sci-fi movie “Seobok,” which premiered on April 15.
Lee Sang Hee will play a senior officer of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) squad, who is also the wife of the second-in-command. Lee Sang Hee has showcased powerful acting and complete immersion into her previous roles as a nurse, a librarian, and a prosecutor. Jo Dal Hwan, who makes his presence felt in each project he’s been in, will play a Navy senior officer who is the mood-maker aboard his submarine with his refreshing personality.
In his first big screen debut, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo will play a young but steadfast sailor in the Navy who is in charge of sonar detection. He has steadily built up his acting career over the past few years in dramas like “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty,” “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung,” and most recently “True Beauty.”
The movie is being directed by Hwang In Ho (“Spellbound,” “Monster”). Although the terror attack is staged in the middle of the city, the movie puts a fresh spin on the genre by introducing experts in the field of submarines, naval command, and chemical bombs.

On January 19, iMBC reported that Lee Jong Suk would be starring in “Decibel” (working title). Following reports, a source from Lee Jong Suk’s agency A-MAN Project shared, “Lee Jong Suk has received an offer to star in ‘Decibel,’ and he is positively reviewing the offer.”
“Decibel” will be produced by East Dream Synopex, and it is a story that unfolds when a bomb that responds to sound is discovered at the center of the city. This terror attack occurs following an incident that happened one year ago in a submarine, and important figures such as a submarine commander, reporter, and a member of the Defense Security Support Command come together to try and stop the bomb.
Earlier in December 2020, Sports Kyunghyang had also reported that Kim Rae Won, Jung Sang Hoon, and Park Byung Eun would be starring in the film. Sources linked to the three actors confirmed that they were positively reviewing their offers.
Kim Rae Won is in talks to play the Navy submarine commander Kang Do Young. He’s a key figure linked to the submarine incident that was the cause of the terror attack. If he accepts the offer, this will be his first film in two years following “The Most Ordinary Love.” He’s expected to deliver a strong performance with his presence following his work in his previous film and “Long Live the King.”
Jung Sang Hoon is in talks for the role of the passionate reporter Oh Dae Oh. This is also his first film in two years following “Shall We Do It Again.” Viewers are already anticipating his acting in the film since he’s been promoting in various fields including dramas and variety shows.
Finally, Park Byung Eun is in talks for the role of Cha Young Han, who is a member of the Defense Security Support Command. Reportedly, Lee Jong Suk purchased a villa in ‘Nine One Hannam’ shortly after selling his building located in Seoul’s Gangnam-gu Shinsadong.
